it's been a month?!? i am so very sorry! firstly, i have no realy excuse. i've just been in a bit of slump. i have made some cards though. in addition to being in a slump about cards, i've been in a bit of a slump about everything. i haven't blogged much at all, as you can see. yeah, i've had stuff to do... ladybug has been home for the summer. but she started day camp today, so i can't blame her for the next few weeks.
well, i'm getting back in the swing of things and am pulling myself out of my slump. i've got a got a group coming over on august 16th, so i've got to decide on which projects we're going to do. also, i've decided to paint my garage and hold workshops in it, ala my girl patty b. i'm excited about that and can't wait!
now, my other delima, which i talked about briefly in the previous post, is still a delima. i've got so much other, non stamping stuff to do (yes, i do other stuff besides stamping and scrapping), around my house - like add more major decorator touches to my daughters bedroom, find her a desk, rug, bookshelves, and a new room color to paint it, completely redo our backyard due to a flood, and, hmm... o, we need new linens, and a new double vanity in the master bath. and i musn't forget the fact that i am in desperate need of crafting storage!! it's so hard to decide what to do.
buy tons of new and wonderful stamping up! goodies - oh the new scallop punch is amazing, and the new 'in colors' are practically edible! - so i can do more creating with, and hold new exciting workshops with. or do all that stuff around and for the house. what's a craft crazy girl to do??

well, on to the cards... the 'little birdie told me' is a bday card for a friend of dh, the green and brown card is from the set 'tie the knot' and it's an anniversary card for my dear sister adn friend crystal, the last one is for another friend. everything is stampin up! copyright 1999-2008 (yeah, yeah, i'm still working on that too!)
i thought i'd try to make some cards that did'nt involve actual stamping. a while before i made these cards i bought some rub ons at michael's and in my scrap caddy they sat. honestly, i just didn't know what to do with them. so i thought i'd experiment on some cards. i LOVE rub ons! i use them in my scrapbook layouts as well. the other thing i love ar die cuts; that's what the flowers are on the blue card and the orange card. the green flowers, hearts, butterfly, and actual sentiment on the black face card are rub ons. the pink, orange, and small green flowers are felt. yeah baby! oh so neat!
